For project 4, we were told to interpret "Our Story". I wanted to do something related to my life, and took it a bit literally. Unfortunately, I didn't get close to finishing it in the time I had for that project; It even spanned 3 separate ones, and didn't get done. But I hope to complete it soon.
What I ended up doing is making a comic. It goes through my phases of life, at 5, 9, 12, 16, and 19 (now). Each phase is longer than the last, and the transitions happen off camera when I go to a different setting or whatnot. I did my best to integrate how my art progressed through each age, but it didn't make it in all of them. It ended up being more about the people in my life; Nick and Jon, my playmates in grade school, Tima and her sister Sarah, the ones who got me into more anime as well as going to our first convention together. Then there's Andra in high school, one of the "lunch table" (though I initially wanted to include all of them, it just wasn't meant to be) and the one who co-authored a daily comic I did in Junior and Senior year, called Starman. (Starman featured our Geometry teacher as a farming Starfish that gets zapped by alien radiation and gains super powers... crazy right?)
At the end of high school and in the college phase, Mark is featured. He is my fiance and I've been with him for nearly 4 1/2 years now. The last phase just takes place in his car, but it more focuses on just us, hopefully showcasing his importance in my life.
There are a few inside jokes, but I'm hoping it didn't detract much from the comic; I didn't want others not involved to not enjoy it, after all.
As well as inking it, I plan on toning the pages and making a cover for it. Wish me luck on finishing it! I'll need it.

Project 3 - Animation
For project 3, we had to come up with an animation.
Since I've had some experience in Flash, and wanted to improve on it, I decided to use that as my media. As for the subject, I chose a recent scene in one of my favorite mangas, "Bleach". Using the pages, I animated the main character's new transformation.
The pages can be seen here and here.
Working off that and the rest of the content of the chapter, I created the sequence of his transformation. Unfortunately, I couldn't get it finished, but it is something I definitely plan on going back to in the future. I'm quite proud of how it came out. :)

Project 2 - Audio & Video
Project 2 was making audio, then placing it to video.
I had never worked with Audio before, so it was a learning experience. I must say, though, that I found it quite tedious work; but then I suppose someone who doesn't have a whole lot of experience in comics or hand drawing would find that tedious too. The final result was nice enough, and in the end I was glad I did it.
But because I spent so much time trying to figure out the audio, I didn't get a chance to develop the video much (Something I do have some amount of experience in) so it was left unfinished. But overall, I think it had the potential to be decent. I don't think I'll be going back to it, but it was nice to do.

The Definition of 4D
4D, whether used in a scientific or artistic sense, brings about the thought of time. The movement, flow, and progression of time. In the instance of art, time can be portrayed in several different medias in several different categories, making it a very broad spectrum to work with. Some of the most popular could be an animation, music, video, or a sculpture that moves. Any piece with interactive properties or simply anything that suggests time could be an example of 4D art.
